The first thing you will want to do is assemble a team. The game can be played solo, but you can play with up to four others in the same room or online. The first thing you and your team, or crew as they will be referred to throughout the game, is decide on who you will be throughout the journey. You will choose a race ( such as human or pescaran ) and then a background ( such as Scientist or xenobiologist ). This generates a set of stats and determines some of the potential roleplay hooks that you will face across the cosmos.


Over the next few pages, you will be provided with a step-by-step guide on creating the character you wish to roleplay. On all of these pages you will come across references to a 'character sheet'. The character sheet is what you will use to track your characters progress. The character sheet is used to keep track of your stats, inventory, equipment, currency and other bits and pieces found along the adventure.
