The Utility Gun is the one and only weapon that your character will need. This weapon has many capabilities from lockpicking and mining to launching attacks and shutting down cameras. The only character that does not use any form of utility gun is Humecha, instead they have a full ability tree available to them that adds a multitude of functionality to their characters exoskeleton.


Components
When you create your character, you will notice that when choosing a utility gun that the stats differ between them. These are starting stats. Some suits start with laser cutter bonuses, others have more technology slots available. Let's take a look at utility gun information below.

STARTING TECH SLOTS:
Determines how many utility gun modules you can have installed at any given time. The amount can be upgraded

MAXIMUM TECH SLOTS:
There is no maximum to the number of technology slots that utility guns can upgrade to

LASER CUTTER BONUS:
Laser cutter bonus affects outcome of resources gathered when mining. You can only mine if you have a Laser Cutter module installed. Modules will increase your utility guns overall laser strength rating. This bonus is added to your overall

BASIC ATTACKS:
This is replaced when you install a weapons module. The basic attack is used when you have no ammo or weapon modules installed.​

PERMANENT ATTACK BONUS:
This number is added to ALL attacks made when you have a weapon installed. This bonus is ignored if your utility gun does not have a weapon module installed

CLASS:
This is the class rating of the weapon. This can be upgraded. The method of upgrading for each utility gun is different, and will only be discovered once you begin travelling the universe
