Equipment

Xenosuits

The Xenosuit is the outfit that a character wears in Lunaris, with exception to Humecha characters who have no requirement for such an item. Xenosuits provide storage for items that you can carry, protection from environments you will face, and enemies that you will battle against. All xenosuits come equipped with a jetpack with varying capacities. Each suit has expandable inventory capabilities and its technology can be upgraded.

Components
When you create your character, you will notice that when choosing a xenosuit that the stats differ between them. These are starting stats. Some suits start with modules installed which increase the capability of the suit itself, others have more technology slots than others, or inventory slots amongst other things. Let's take a look at suit information below.

MANUFACTURER:
Who built this suit

BEST START FOR:
The character type suited to, however this is a recommendation only

STARTING TECH SLOTS:
This is the maximum number of xenosuit modules you can have installed on your suit until you upgrade it by purchasing or finding new technology slots

MAXIMUM TECH SLOTS:
This is the maximum number of technology slots that this xenosuit can be upgraded to

STARTING INVENTORY SLOTS:
This is the number of inventory slots that this xenosuit starts with. You can of course upgrade the number of inventory slots in a number of ways throughout your adventure

STARTING JETPACK FUEL:
Displays the amount of fuel you begin with alongside the maximum amount of fuel this jetpack component can store. This capacity can be increased throughout your adventure

LIFE SUPPORT:
Life support is essentially your health. Once this is reduced to 0, you are dead. The number displayed here is the maximum amount of life support this xenosuit allows for, unless you upgrade it to increase this number

SHIELDING:
Shielding is your first line of defence. This acts as a buffer between incoming damage and how much 'hits' your life support. The number displayed here is the maximum amount of shielding this xenosuit allows for, unless you upgrade it to increase this number. Shielding works by absorbing the initial attack. For example, an enemy successfully attacks you with an attack of 6. If your shielding is 4 and your life support is 10, then 4 points of the initial attack will be nullified, meaning you will only take 2 points of life support damage.

enemy attack = 6 your shielding = 4 your life support = 10
Attack minus shielding = life support damage

RADIATION PROTECTION:
Protects from extreme radiation. The higher this number the better the protection when navigating hazardous environments.

OXYGEN REGULATION:
Protects in low oxygen areas. The higher this number the better the protection when navigating hazardous environments.

TOXIC PROTECTION:
Protects from extreme toxicity. The higher this number the better the protection when navigating hazardous environments.

THERMAL PROTECTION:
Protects from extreme hot and cold. The higher this number the better the protection when navigating hazardous environments.

STEALTH ADJUSTMENT:

STARTING TECHNOLOGY MODULES:

STARTING INVENTORY SLOTS:
Inventory slots are dedicated inventory spaces where you can carry items you find across the universe. There is no maximum limit to the number of slots you can add via upgrades. Items of the same name can stack up infinitely. Some suits start with free items, make sure that these are reflected on your character sheet.
